4 - 70g Dry Meat has been a sacred delicacy for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people since time immemorial."Pânsâwân" ("bahn-sa-wan") translates to thin sliced meat from the Cree (Nehiyaw) language. Traditionally, this meat was obtained after a successful hunt and was carefully dried and smoked for many days by the tribe's men and women, giving it that distinct flavor. The resulting Dry Meat is how our ancestors replenished themselves during the long, harsh Canadian winters.

I was curious about the taste. It is Great. I will order again.
Everything was very tasty and for a hike, it was the great snack to bring along
I first ordered from Mitsoh for a multi day hike on Nootka Island. The pemmican strips and dried bison were lifesavers on those very soggy days both on the trail and for a quick bite of protein before setting up camp. I now keep a pack at work for my after school snack instead of reaching for a highly processed granola bar. Love the products and love ordering from an Indigenous and family owned company. Thank you Mitsoh!
Wow—thank you so much for sharing that! It means a lot to hear our pemmican and dry meat were there for you during those soggy Nootka Island hikes. That’s exactly the kind of fuel they were made for—real food for real moments on the land.
I love that you’ve made it part of your routine at work too. Swapping out the granola bar for something clean and traditional is such a great choice, and it means the world to us that you're supporting an Indigenous, family-owned business along the way.
Thanks again for your kind words and continued support—we're grateful for you!
I realy love it, not to dry
