4 - 70g Dry Meat has been a sacred delicacy for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people since time immemorial."Pânsâwân" ("bahn-sa-wan") translates to thin sliced meat from the Cree (Nehiyaw) language. Traditionally, this meat was obtained after a successful hunt and was carefully dried and smoked for many days by the tribe's men and women, giving it that distinct flavor. The resulting Dry Meat is how our ancestors replenished themselves during the long, harsh Canadian winters.
2 - MITSOH BLUEBERRY PEMMICAN STRIPS! These delicious snacks are made REAL, all-natural BISON! The whole food ingredients are simple: Bison, Blueberries, Pure Maple Syrup, Sea Salt and Pepper.
2 - MITSOH SASKATOON PEMMICAN STRIPS! These delicious snacks are made REAL, all-natural BISON! The whole food ingredients are simple: Bison, Saskatoon berries, Pure Maple Syrup, Sea Salt and Pepper. That’s it!
The first thing that stood out was the rich, natural flavor of the bison—perfectly complemented by a subtle smoky essence that never overpowers the meat’s natural taste.
What I truly appreciate is the simplicity of the ingredients. Without unnecessary additives, this jerky stays true to tradition, highlighting the quality of the bison and the careful craftsmanship behind it. It’s the perfect balance of texture, taste, and authenticity.
If you’re looking for a high-quality, flavorful snack made with care and respect for nature, this bison jerky is a must-try!
Merci ma famille a adoré!
Northern Métis, coming from a small town in the NWT & living in the south.
I've missed drymeat SO MUCH—there's just nothing like it... if you know, you know. On occasion, family has portaged over and brought some drymeat from home (usually caribou or moose).
A friend recommended Mitsoh when I was visiting Edmonton recently. I was skeptical at first. Drymeat? From a store? Ordered some to be delivered to BC (super quick shipping, btw). Let's just say, from the very first bite, I could see what it's advertised as "Elder Approved"! EVER GOOD!
While I didn't grow up with pemmican, I had tried some from Mitsoh & it was also tasty! Personally preferred the ones *with* pepper but appreciated getting a mix pack so I could try both... Mahsi cho Mitsoh!
In summary: Do yourself & any cousins you like a big favor—buy Mitsoh, share Mitsoh! It's Indigenous-owned, Indigenous-made, & brilliantly preserved, tasty pieces of home. You won't regret it!
Great quality and lasts a good while. Love supporting Indigenous businesses!
We are so grateful for your support Das!
Very happy with the quality of the product. My kids love it. My problem is that I eat it too quickly!
They included some tea samples, which are also delicious!
I'm curious if you guys will use some bison organs. I would like to try that. Keep it up!
Ordered this bundle for all my damily and friends kids to try that like using jerky as a protein source.
Huge success, all three families are ordering more to keep on hand. If you like taking something to the gym or on hikes or skiing these are a fabulous option to keep you going without the added fillers.
