Gave different flavors to my family as stocking stuffers and they were a big hit. A lot of us have always wanted to try pemmican but never thought we could find it!
So good!
It was mostly made of fat. Now I know what you mean when you say it’s made with all Bison. Yeah, that includes the Bison fat and lots of it. Also, for me, without the pepper, it lacked flavour. And the product is much too expensive for what you get. Not much Bison meat.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us — we really appreciate you taking the time.
Pemmican is a traditional food that’s intentionally made with bison fat as a key component, which is what gives it its energy-dense, nourishing qualities.
We’re grateful you tried Mitsoh and for your honest feedback. Every perspective helps us continue to learn and grow, and we truly appreciate your support.
A unique and enjoyable treat. The mix of flavours and textures is pretty wonderful - like combining a lightly sweet fruit leather with jerky, but with the tender and slightly chewy consistency of a soft fruit bar.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and beautifully described review — we truly appreciate it.
We love how you captured the mix of flavours and textures, and we’re so glad you found it to be a unique and enjoyable treat. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for supporting Mitsoh!
Absolutely delicious. The light addition of pepper balances wonderfully with the berries (though it still might be too sweet for those who prefer dryer, saltier meats). I look forward to trying more flavours as they are released!
