Lost in Canadian Postal delivery system.

Ordered product, delivery was going to be via postal system. Received notice that product was to be delivered on a certain date. Then postal system shutdown due to strike/lockout. I have no idea what product is like. Taste, texture, etc.????
Hope the “order” does not degrade before actual delivery.
