I ordered these for my Grandson so he can take them where ever he goes, especially to hockey. He’s 8 and he loves them! I like them too! Very handy and, more importantly, healthy! Great snack for at home or on the go!
I am on a very restrictive diet, additives and sugars cause all sorts of problems for me. I have been longing for snack food and does this fit the bill. The meat is chewy but not hard and the flavour of the bison and smoke is amazing. Chew a piece off and leave it in my check. The flavours are really pleasant.
Surprisingly, I actually preferred the dried bison meat over the pemmican. I had never had pemmican before so I didn’t know what to expect. I actually expected the pemmican to be drier than it was, but I cannot judge it against any other pemmican. It was tasty, but I expected a smokier flavour. I had actually purchased it as a possble snack for day-tripping around Québec this summer. I will pack some, but I don't know if it will be the "go to" power pack totally on its own.
