Very tasty, but underwhelming fruit

This is my first time consuming pemmican, so perhaps my expectations were set too high. I learned about its health benefits many years ago, and was under the impression that the fruit would come out as the prime taste. I was mistaken, but it is otherwise a very tasty snack at the end of the day and I would consider buying more when the opportunity is ripe.
