Our Products
What is Pemmican?
Pemmican is one of the original high-protein foods. Traditionally made with dried meat and fruit, it was created to provide lasting fuel through long days, harsh weather, and big distances.
Mitsoh makes Pemmican today with Canadian pasture-raised bison, berries and simple ingredients.
What makes Mitsoh beef sticks different from other meat sticks?
Mitsoh beef sticks are made with grass-fed beef, simple ingredients, and a cleaner approach to everyday snacking. They’re satisfying, and made without sodium nitrates or artificial ingredients that are found in conventional meat snacks.
What is dry meat?
Dry bison meat is exactly what it sounds like: lean bison that’s dried and naturally smoked.
Rooted in Indigenous food traditions, it was made to be lasting, nourishing, and easy to take with you. We make our version with pasture-raised bison that is hard-wood smoked.
What makes Mitsoh pruducts different from jerky?
Pemmican: Mitsoh pemmican is rooted in Indigenous tradition and made with pasture-raised bison, berries, and simple ingredients. It’s softer and more nutrient-dense than typical jerky. High in protein, low in fat and made without nitrates or anything artificial.
Beef Sticks: Made without gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, or tree nuts. Our beef sticks keep things simple with grass-fed beef, real seasoning, and clean ingredients.
Why meat snacks?
Because real food still works. Meat snacks are portable, satisfying, and naturally high in protein. Mitsoh makes them with better ingredients and a deeper story behind every bite.
Why do Mitsoh beef sticks have sodium and saturated fat callouts?
Mitsoh grass-fed beef sticks are made with real beef, which naturally contains saturated fat. We do not use seed oils, fillers, or heavily processed ingredients. The sodium supports flavour, food safety, and shelf stability in a simple meat snack made without added sugars or artificial ingredients. Our choice is to keep the ingredients simple, the protein real, and the food made with purpose.
