I love having bannock at home, to pull out and have as a change from bread. and I love that this is a product made in Canada by a small business that i want to support.
I am very much a fan of these pemmican strips, in fact, they have actually become one of my favourite foods! I have tried all the main flavours and loved them equally the same. As for the dried meat, I thoroughly enjoyed that as well. It came in generous portions and were so much better than any beef jerkey I've ever tried, and healthier too! Thanks again for sharing these ancestral foods that resonate with me so deeply, it is an honour to be able to partake in this extra special tradition.
This bannock was amazingly good! It exceeded my expectations, considering it was made to be shelf stable. It was just as authentic in flavour and texture as the traditional bannock I know and love, especially when enjoyed with one of my favourite jams!
